EMAIL to me about the Ghost Hunt. You can email me, sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Tue, 9 Jan 19:14:12 -0800 (PST) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi, Just wanted to let you know that my family and I really enjoyed your ghost walk. My son, who is 10, was really nervous about it being too scary, but he had a great time. We went on your ghost walk on Jan 6, . My 16 year old daughter shot a bunch of pictures in the Queen Anne Hotel and I believe we captured some ghost orbs. I've attached the photos. The photo with the three children in it was shot going down in the elevator. The other was shot on the staircase going up to the third floor. It's okay if you would like to share them. I'm letting everyone I know what a great time we had and I love showing the photos. Thank you for sharing the adventure. Best Wishes, Karen, Krista, Marc and Kaitlin To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Sun, 03 Dec 21:43:59 -0800 Thank you for the wonderful ghost hunt. My mom and I had a really nice time. That key was amazing, the energy coming off that was powerful. Have a great vacation and good hunting. All the best JOHN Date: Mon, 13 Nov 03:02:48 -0500 (EST) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Great tour on Saturday! While I enjoyed the 'spooky' stuff I found the tangible history of SF very enthralling. Thanks, Craig Date: Sat, 11 Nov 10:55:51 -0800 (PST) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi Jim, We were on your tour Thursday night and thought you might enjoy a couple pictures we found interesting. In the one with me, there's a pretty distinctive glowing ball of light. We zoomed in on the ball and saw something in it. Please let me know if you see something too. In the one with Justin, we saw something on his left leg. We thought you'd enjoy these pictures. We all had a great time on your tour. Keep up the great work. Tammy and Justin Date: Tue, 31 Oct 14:01:26 -0800 To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com What better way to get in the spirit than to chase ghosts...! Jim, At first glance, I didn't see many orbs...but look closer at my photos It looks like a population of ghost in Mary Lake's room. Thanks for the wonderful evening! My Halloween is complete. Marlene To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Mon, 30 Oct 10:10:27 -0800 Hi Jim, My friends and I had a lot of fun on our ghost hunt walk last Friday. Thanks for all the stories. And here’s what we believe to be Mary Ellen on the backgroung of the picture (the white spot). It gets very, very interesting as you zoom in the white spot. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. Best regards, Cadu Date: Sun, 29 Oct 22:38:25 -0800 (PST) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi, Jim ~ Great tour! Having been a tour guide ~ my first career in SF~ I know of what I speak. Cheers, Kerry Date: Sun, 29 Oct 15:12:44 -0800 To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com I went on the ghost tour last year on October 30, 2005. You had mentioned that sometimes balls of light appear in photos. I thought that you might be interested in this photo. At first we thought it was the moon in the picture. But when we looked at the calendar we realized that there was no moon on this night. I was going to send this to you sooner. It slipped my mind. But today, I was reorganizing my pictures and so decided to send it to you. Happy Halloween! Catherine Date: Sun, 29 Oct 10:37:29 -0800 (PST) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi Jim: It's Renee from the ghosthunt last night. I'm the person from chicago who told you about a range of experiences. I had a great time at the ghost hunt. Take care, Renee To: "SF Ghost Hunt" Date: Thu, 26 Oct 15:10:46 -0500 Jim, I just wanted to say thank you my wife and I went on your tour two years ago, and had a great time. Last week we went on your tour again with our kids, and had an even better time (we stayed at the Queen Anne). The kids are already talking about coming back and ghost hunting. Once again thank you for making our vacation a little bit less ordinary and a lot more interactive. Steven Date: Wed, 25 Oct 22:01:07 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi Jim, We went on your ghost walk Labor Day weekend 2004 (oh wow, it's been 2 years already). I've been meaning to send you a note ever since. Anyway, we really enjoyed the hunt and even stayed that night at the Queen Anne Hotel in room 301 (or maybe 300, very end of the hall on the courtyard side). It's a smaller room but was quite nice. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep very well. There was a heat wave that weekend and since our room was right next to the fire escape with no bars or screens, we didn't want to leave the window open. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to the smell of orange blossom. Just for a few moments and then it was gone. Wondering if there are orange trees in that courtyard area (don't remember seeing any)or if it was something other than normal. Thanks again for the great tour, Lindsay & Robert Date: Wed, 25 Oct 17:50:02 -0700 (PDT) To: SFGhostHunt@yahoo.com We visited S.F. on 9/28/06 and attended your tour. I have gone on these tours in St. Augustine, Savannah, New Orleans (several different ones), Key West, Charleston - etc. I have heard about orbs, but had one show up on a photo of mine, even though I take hundreds of photos per year. (I am a licensed private investigator and have many occasions to do night shots). On this particular trip (San Francisco & Hawaii), I took 450 photos - both night and day and did not get anything that looked like this on any of the other 449. Even though photographing many things on other "ghost or haunted history" tours, I have never seen anything unsual. As you are the expert - I'll let you be the judge as to whether this is a orb or not - but I have no other explanation. FYI - the 6 of us who participated in your tour and have gone on many others, found yours to be at the top of the list as far as informative and entertaining. May you have many more guests as delighted as we were. Vivian, Knoxville, TN Date: Tue, 24 Oct 02:43:11 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi Jim! It's me Meri. I think you remember me. My mom and I have been on your tour a few times. It's been a while now, haha. But yeah, I'm writing to say my friends and I are planning to take your tour on Halloween. We're all pretty excited. =D Can't wait to see ya again! -meri Date: Wed, 18 Oct 15:45:00 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com hi went on your ghost hunt while on holiday from england in sept. we were actualy staying in the queen anne hotel. when my mother died two years ago i stayed in my old bedroom after her funeral, i awoke to find a blue light moving from my head to the front of me. when the light stopped my mother was there, she spoke and said how much she loved us and that she was ok. people say it was all in my mind but i know what i saw.could you please enlighten me. by the way my wife and i really enjoyed your tour all the best To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Mon, 16 Oct 15:50:16 -0700 Jim: We went on your tour last year in June, and you just might remember us. My boyfriend had just got a tattoo on his arm. Anyways, I am sending you my story and pictures from that tour. I am using it as my Halloween card this year! I decided to send my entire story and the pictures, and I believe that my second picture might be something. Hope your Halloween is great, and I wish I could be there that night for the tour! Erin from Santa Maria, CA Date: Mon, 9 Oct 11:46:05 EDT To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi Jim, We have been meaning to get this photo to you. We took your tour on August 4th, . This is a photo of my husband going up the stairs at the Queen Anne Hotel prior to the tour and arrival of other tour guests. We thought we would check out the hotel and the upstairs where there have been reports of cold spots. And indeed, my husband and I both felt an extreme cold spot. (I really did not expect to feel it and was quite thrilled when we both did!) It was not until we came home and developed our pictures that we noticed this orb or globe on my husband's left shoulder. Thought you might be interested in seeing this! Thanks for the great tour and the awesome stories! We had a great time! Jim & Shannon Palmdale, Ca. To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Sat, 07 Oct 21:03:36 -0700 Hello Mr. Fassbinder, My sister (from Riverside, CA) and I were on your tour last night and we enjoyed ourselves very much! I hope I remembered to say "thanks!" In any case, I meant to ask, have you ever done the "Key" demonstration at any other point in the tour? Does it have any or no effect on any other corner on that street? Just wondering. Have a happy October! I plan to bring my other sister (who lives here w/me in SF) and a few friends with me on another of your tours very soon. Best wishes, -Rosita PS - Thanks for the silent prayer to keep us all safe! :) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Thu, 28 Sep 18:11:05 +1000 Hi My wife and I came on your tour on Sunday 13 August while on holiday from Australia and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for such a great tour. We have been on a few ghost walks around the both in the UK and Australia and I have to say that yours was the best that we have been on. We have been telling all our friends about the amazing things that happened with the key and voodoo doll and how they spooked us. We had a great time and did not even complain about the moderate hill! Once again thanks Iain & Tina Date: Wed, 27 Sep 13:08:21 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Dear Jim, I have been on your ghosthunt several times over the last 4 or 5 years now. You have always been very entertaining and so nice (you waived my admission because I kept coming back). I would call myself an "armchair ghosthunter". I don't belong to a specific paranormal group but I actively research the phenomena. I've been to a few of the ghost conferences put on by Gloria Young's group (including the 1st at the Queen Anne)and have stayed in 410 once. Thank you for your fun tour. Sincerely, Jen "Armchair Ghosthunter" To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Tue, 26 Sep 12:46:24 -0700 Jim: Some months ago, we went on the Tour with our niece from LA. We had a wonderful time and even ended up taking two pictures in the hotel of orbs floating near you as you told us of the haunted room! Those are attached to this email. Your tour is both educational and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we’re going to bring other friends to visit with you and your “friends” for a little while. In the meantime, I have a little something to impart to you. We live here in the City and I drive my girlfriend to work each morning from 16th Avenue , via Bush Street , down to Kearny and California Streets. Each and every morning, when we pass her eucalyptus trees, by we send a greeting and good thoughts to Mary Ellen Pleasant. Two weeks ago my wallet was either picked or simply lost by me. We searched everywhere we could think of for that old wallet. I cleaned the bedroom, tore apart our VW bus, searched the couch and chairs, and finally decided that it was gone. We, of course, cancelled the credit cards and I reapplied for a new driver’s license. The day after I reapplied for the license I was driving Stephanie to work and as we passed her trees I once again told Mary Ellen, “Good Morning dear.” I added a question directly to her, “Mary Ellen, can you see if you can find my wallet for me and send it back? I really need some of that stuff!”, then off when the light changed to green. That night we went to bed and just as we were going to sleep the doorbell rang. I went to the window and asked who it was. The answer surprised and pleased me, “This is the San Francisco Police Department and we have the driver’s license for you.” I ran down to find that not only my license, but almost everything else that I needed was there!! It had been placed in a plastic bag and hung on a sign at the corner of 6th Avenue and Balboa Street . This is across Golden Gate Park from where we live and there was no way for me to have lost it there. Mary Ellen heard my request and helped to get my wallet back! I’m sure of it! I had asked all the powers for help and got nothing in response. I asked Mary Ellen and that very night got most of my stuff back! Thank you for introducing us to Mary Ellen Pleasant. We thank her just about every day we pass by. Tom & Stephanie To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Mon, 25 Sep 18:48:23 -0700 Hi Jim, This is Cesar. I attented your ghost hunt tour on Friday. I'm the native San Franciscan with the black beanie and his weird sidekick friend. Thanks again for the tour. I really had alot of fun and so did my friend. You were kind enough to tell me of places I can go to investigate not-so-friendly ghosts. By the way, I have attached some pictures that may have orbs in them but I'll let you be the judge. Thanks again for a memorable adventure and hope to see you again soon. Take care. Cesar - SF, CA Date: Fri, 15 Sep 19:47:48 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hello Jim I'm 26 and I still get spooked on your tour each May when I visit my sister in SF. I recommend this tour to everyone. I'm sure you hear this a lot but I just wanted to drop a line and say thanks. Be well and be safe from some of those mean ghosts. -David Riverside, Ca To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Wed, 6 Sep 17:20:06 -0700 Hi Jim, Sorry it has taken me soooo long to forward our photo to you. But I just recently recommended you to a couple of friends of ours headed to San Francisco for the weekend, and it reminded me that I needed to send you this photo of us and our "glowing orb" that I'm sure you will remember (see upper left hand corner above the framed photo). Creepy!!!! Thanks again for a good tour. Cheers, Kathy Date: Wed, 6 Sep 11:49:33 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hi - I was on your tour Monday night (Labor Day 9/4/06), my ex-husband will be sending you incredible pictures we took that night. But I have a question. After we made a wish with the doll, I heard a branch crack and I was pelted in the middle of my back with a gum-nut. Does that have any meaning or was it just Mary Ellen making herself known? I really enjoyed your tour, it was very entertaining and I can't wait to visit again. Kind regards, Denise Date: Tue, 5 Sep 03:16:20 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com I was in San Francisco and attended the ghost hunt a little over a week ago. I just want to say how much I enjoyed it. Originally when I saw the brochure, I was very excited because I've always been very fascinated by the paranormal. However, as I thought about it more, I almost didn't want to go. I thought that it would probably be very childish. I thought it would be like a little kids haunted house where the people who run it put on sheets or something in attempt to scare the people. I was wrong. My parents talked me back into it and I'm glad they did. You were very professional and set the mood perfectly. Thank you for the amazing experience. ~Heather To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Thu, 24 Aug 16:52:07 -0500 Hi, I had the pleasure of taking your tour back in June 2002. I've been intending to send this picture for a long time! This was taken in front of the house where a woman had her husband's body returned to her in a barrel of rum. What's interesting about this capture: 1) I was holding the camera up to take the picture and didn't see any object that could have caused the orbs from my regular viewpoint during the shot. 2) The digital camera jammed twice before I was able to get an image. I hope you enjoy seeing this. I took other pictures with orbs, especially in the Queen Anne, but this one was particularly chilling to me. The orbs here are different - much more distinct and extremely bright in comparison. I recommend your tour to everyone I know who is planning a trip to San Francisco. I've been on ghost tours all over the country and they all pale in comparison to yours. Thanks, Alicia Date: Mon, 21 Aug 20:45:23 -0700 (PDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Jim, My son and I (Joe) took your tour last night (August 20). I have to say, we had a ball. Though we did not see anything, Joe came home, after an eight hour drive, and went through his pictures, looking for anything that may be out of the ordinary, and I think he may have found some things. I have two pictures of the VooDoo gal's house. Both were taken within a minute of each other. The angle is slightly different and there was wind, but I think it is kind of odd how different the two are. Thanks a lot and we will probably take your tour again when we come back next year, Gene Date: Sun, 20 Aug 22:29:18 -0700 To: "Jim Fassbinder" Hey Mr. Fassbinder, Thanks so much for the wonderful evening. It's great to know what to keep our eyes out for when steering through the city at night. Molly used to live on the west end of Pac Heights on Broderick. Before we moved in together I would ride on my bicycle down California St from my place on Nob Hill (Stockton and California) to visit her most nights. I wish I would have known about Flora back then! But too late for my wish with the Voodoo Wish Doll... I spent it on Molly :) Anyhow... You have our recommendation to our friends and family... Local and visiting. If we got any good shots of ghosts or you worth forwarding on we will. Thanks again and all the best! Nick & Molly Date: Tue, 15 Aug 13:31:24 -0400 To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Just to say, that tour was awesome. My wife and I had a great time. We were the ones who drove across the country. Joe and Amber I snapped this picture when you were saying to send you funny pics, and it looks odd in the bottom right corner. check it out. To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Date: Sat, 12 Aug 10:06:23 -0700 Jim, It's been over two months since my husband and I went on your ghost hunt, but I just realized that I have this wonderful photo of when the ghost turned the key over in my hand that I'd meant to send to you, so with no further ado, here it is. We had a great time on the ghost hunt and mentioned it to many people as our favorite part of our trip to San Francisco. We've been recommending it left and right to everyone we know who is planning a visit there. -Stephanie Date: Wed, 9 Aug 01:12:43 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Hey Jim , it's me Gabi a.k.a Hope! If you remember me. I did'nt want to tell you this during the ghost hunt because i did not want to make a big issue out of it. But when we were in room 410 and you were talking about mary's ghost. I thought I herd someone wisper in my ear from behind. I looked around to see if anyone was behind me, but nobody wasn't. So I shrugged it off. Then you let us go on our on and my mother and I were admiring the furniture on the secend floor, we went in a hallway and I sat down to tie my showe on a bench. When I got really cold. My mother had walked off.So I was by myself. But Let me tell you now before we got further in the story. Recntly my Great Grandfather was diagnoised with cancer. And it confussed me. Knowing that he was very kind and a soft spoken man. So I wonderd why him? But anyways, Jim I felt very... "HOPEFUL".And I felt if a presence of a women was besised me . I silently said," Thank you Mary." And it returned back to it's normal temperture. So Jim that is another reason why I asked you why you chose me as HOPE. The night we returned back home in Ventura County we Got A phone call from Grandma telling us that he's doing better!!!! Jim, thank you so much you are one of my heros now. Much love, Your HOPE Date: Mon, 24 Jul 00:02:52 -0400 (EDT) To: sfghosthunt@yahoo.com Greetings Jim... It's 'Curious George'... Just wanted to drop a line and tell you again how much we enjoyed the tour, and the talk with you afterwards. While we were wandering the Queen Anne, we took several photos, and interestingly enough, one had some 'glowing balls of light' in them, and there were no reflective surfaces in the hallway where I shot the picture... If you're interested in posting it, let me know and I'll get a copy to you. Again, thanks for the opportunity to go on the tour, and rest assured, next time we're in the Bay area, you're first on the list of things to do! Regards,
